Europe’s biggest McDonald’s opens in Mallorca, but Germans can’t reach it

Mallorca is one of the easiest and most popular vacation destinations for Germans. Now this vacation paradise is even better with a mega McDonald’s opening up within its borders. The only issue is that Germans who travel from Germany can only watch the restaurant from afar due to technicalities. 

Where is Mallorca’s giant McDonald’s located?

McDonald’s’ new flagship restaurant in Europe is opening its doors at a very lively location: The Palma de Mallorca airport. This new spot is reportedly the biggest in Europe, having around 1,000 square meters and 40 digital order kiosks, and of course a staff big enough to accommodate the size.

More specifically, Mallorca and Europe’s biggest McDonald’s is located at level P30, section A. This means it is only reachable to visitors coming from non-Schengen areas. Location-wise, visitors from Austria, Germany, Switzerland and more Schengen countries might have to watch the giant restaurant hand out its burgers from a different section of the airport that does not have a connection path to it.

The consumers who can not reach this McDonald’s, will have to stick with smaller branches around, and not the new giant in town.
